The jacket's front flap is entirely detached, and the top inch of the front panel has chipped off. Additional chip out of the spine, leaving a tanned patch on the spine of the book itself. Former church library copy with label on spine, stamps on endpapers, and card pocket in back. Original owner's gift inscription inside front cover as well, but otherwise, text clean and binding tight. The jacket is now protected in a new mylar cover to prevent further damage. Item #327918
Scarce biography of Catherine Buschman, who, after her husband's death, joined the Sisters of Charity and became a missionary in China. She died in 1926. This copy is signed by Weber on the half-title page.
