SIGNED POSTCARD FEATURING "SLIM THE HAMMER MAN"

Houston: Dennis Rogers Enterprises. Cards. Promotional postcard depicting Lawrence L. Farman, more widely known as "Slim the Hammer Man," a celebrity strongman known for leverage lifting. He made a sensation in 1975 when he performed his hammer-lifting act alongside his mentor, the Mighty Atom, at Madison Square Garden. Farman died in 2021.

This postcard measures approx. 6" x 4" and features a black and white photo of Farman executing his hammer lift. This image is SIGNED BY FARNAM IN INK on the left side. The reverse side contains a brief descriptive caption and advertises a DVD release from Dennis Rogers Enterprises. The blank side of the postcard has not been written on or stamped. No copyright date on the card, and the signature is undated; we estimate this to be from sometime in the 2010s.

The postcard is protected in a clear plastic sleeve. FINE, COLLECTIBLE CONDITION, AS NEW. Item #326250
