An INCOMPLETE but lengthy run of the almanac, with volumes spanning 1830-1856 and 1858-1861 (LACKS the 1857 volume). Condition is generally FAIR. The original wraps, while present, are heavily chipped on the edges and spines and show general soiling. Old library label at head of each spine and inside front covers; librarian's notations on the front covers as well. On several volumes, covers are detached but still present. On a few volumes, the spines have been rebacked with cloth for reinforcement, retaining fragments of the original paper backstrips. Large scuff on front cover of 1845 vol., and page edges darkened. Pages bent in 1848 vol. On 1859 vol., the back cover is missing. On 1861 vol., the front cover is missing. All volumes are fragile and must be handled with care. OFFERED AS-IS. Each issue is protected in a plastic bag to prevent further damage. Item #325343

Almanac from the 19th century, published in Boston and offering statistical data on the weather, star positions, commerce, and more. Vol. 1 (1830) is a second edition printed in 1833. The early issues' front covers contains the signature of John R. Randolph, a prominent attorney in Quincy, Illinois.
