Cincinnati: Western Biographical Publishing Company, 1883. Leather. 304p plus numerous b/w plates. A large hardcover book bound in embossed full leather with gilt foredges. Edges of boards are heavily scuffed; surfaces rubbed as well, though the text on the spine and front remains legible. Boards are starting to crack off, though they remain weakly attached at this point. Boards and pages heavily dampstained, but interior is otherwise unmarked. Closed tear in gutter of one of the front endpapers. Pages remain tightly bound despite damaged cover. Acceptable reading condition. Item #324213
