THE COMPLETE WORKS OF EDGAR ALLAN POE
New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1902. Book-Lover's Arnheim Edition (Limited edition). Hardcover. 10 vols. A complete set of ten hardcover books with vellum spines and gilt top edges. Includes the RARE original linen dustjackets. Front covers of volumes 1 and 10 are slightly bowed. Otherwise, all volumes are unmarked and tight. The pages are crisp, bright, and smooth, as if barely handled. The books themselves are thus in essentially fine condition. The jackets have tanned spines (some faint speckling on spines as well) and lightly frayed edges, but are otherwise intact. Small red rub marks on front panel of volume 10's jacket. On the whole, a very nice set for the Poe collector! Item #322861
This is the Book-Lover's Arnheim Edition, limited to 500 sets of which this is #120. Critical introduction by Charles F. Richardson and illustrated with black and white plates by Frederick Simpson Coburn.
