The corners are heavily scuffed, and there are lots of small rub marks on the spine, though the spine text remains legible. Pencil notation inside front cover; text otherwise unmarked by previous owners. The frontispiece is dampstained, and all pages are lightly foxed and age-toned. Some occasional light fingerprint smudges as well. The plates have faded slightly onto their facing pages. The binding is tight. Very good condition for an 18th-century book! Item #186406
