The binding is 3/4 black leather with green cloth boards and marbled endpapers. Good condition overall. Covers lightly scuffed on the leather and cloth. Library stickers torn off the spines, and library stickers inside each volume. Piece torn off margin of page 483 in vol. 6, not affecting the text. Some light, spotty stains on foredges. The pages in vol. 9-10 are dampstained, and more lightly in vol. 11-12. Rear free endpaper in vol. 13 is torn and tape-repaired. Very mild foxing on the plates, but otherwise, text clean and binding secure across the set. Sturdy copies in nice shape for reference. Item #177514
