Text in Latin. This set of the Carmelite author's works includes a six-volume commentary on the Gospels - the first five volumes were published from 1697-1698 with the final volume containing "Additions of a Later Date" being published in 1725. There is also a Commentary on Acts published in 1701 and a selection of miscellaneous works from 1725. Sylveira had a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and has a number of interesting reflections on scripture passages which relate to her.
