THE ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS, Volume LXXVIII (January-June 1881)

London: George C. Leighton, 1881. Hardcover. 640p. Ex-library. An oversize hardcover book with a black cloth spine, leather corners, and green cloth boards. The corners are worn, and there are a few old library markings inside. Occasional small closed tears on page edges. Foldout portrait of Disraeli between pages 416-417 is splitting at the folds and has been partially repaired with tape. Small, thin tear at top of p. 589. Text is unmarked, save for occasional ink smudges that do not affect the readability. Pages tightly bound, though the book should be handled with care so the hinges do not crack. Item #186431
