New York: Harper & Brothers, 1874. Leather. 876p. Ex-library. An oversize hardcover book with black leather spine and corners, and marbled boards. Edges heavily scuffed and boards chafed. The spine is crackly-looking and has an old sticker with the number 7 on it. Library stamp on title page. Closed tear in page 295. Occasional fingerprint smudges, tiny closed tears, and speckly stains, none affecting the readability of the text. Pencil notation in top margin of most issues' last pages. LACKS pages 713-716, 749-752, 785-788, 821-828, and 845-860 (most likely supplements, as no regular issue is missing). Pages securely attached, though the rear hinge is weakened. Item #186237
