Boards heavily scuffed and some chipping on the spines, more severely on volume 2. The second volume also has cracked hinges, and its title page is detached but present. Old seminary labels and related markings inside both volumes, but text itself unmarked. Binding is tight in volume 1. Item #184319

A historical and spiritual treatise on the Eucharist, with text in Latin. This copy belonged to Archbishop John B. Purcell of Cincinnati (1800-1883), whose signature is on both volumes' title pages.
