New York: Thomas R. Mercein, Jr., 1842. Hardcover. 178p. A light brown cloth hardcover book in FAIR condition. The cloth is lightly soiled and the corners are curled inward. The bottom of the spine is worn and there is a small hole in the cloth a few inches above it. Old ink notation on the title page. LACKS THE MAP, and the plate at page 122 is torn. Foxing throughout and occasional small pencil marks in the text. The binding is slightly cockeyed and a bit weakened, but holds well enough for reading purposes. Item #177592
