Philadelphia: M. Carey, 1815. Second Edition. Leather. 336p. A hardcover book in POOR condition. The leather spine is splitting along the edges, leaving the paper-covered boards loosely attached. The edges of the boards are scuffed and chipped, exposing the underlying cardboard. Stains and scuffs on the front board obscure much of the title. The first blank endpaper is detached and clipped at the top. The pages are foxed throughout and a bit age-toned, but otherwise, text unmarked. A badly worn but readable copy that ought to be handled with care. Item #177247
