Edges rubbed and cloth lightly stained here and there. The spine leather of volume I has a surface crack starting down the middle. The spines of volumes II-IV are faded and have sticker residue in the middle. Pages toned and lightly foxed with age. Closed tear on page 243 in volume IV is held with tape, plus some light edge stains on nearby pages. Library bookplates, card pockets, and stamps inside, but text otherwise clean and binding secure across the set. Item #175992
