The head and foot of the spine are starting to fray, and there is a jagged closed tear in the cloth at the bottom. Closed tears on the sides of the table of contents through page 4 (about 1.5" long). Light smudges on page 39. Page 261-262 is dog-eared. Otherwise, text unmarked. The rear hinge is cracking, but the binding is still generally secure for reading purposes. Item #175194
