London: J. Tonson, 1722. Second Edition. Leather. 2 vols. 287p; 310p. A set of two small hardcover books bound in full brown leather with gilt decorations on the spines. Very good condition. The title labels on the spines are handwritten. The edges are scuffed and the front and back covers are peppered with little rub marks. The covers are cracking off, but are still holding securely enough for normal handling. The edges of the endpapers are deeply tanned. Foxing and tanning on the inner pages, but the text is otherwise clean, and all pages are securely bound despite the external damage. Item #169439
