A brief book offering a close look at the scenes depicted in the Isenheim Altarpiece, a 16th-century work of religious art currently on display at the Unterlinden Museum in Alsace, France. It was originally made for the Monastery of St. Anthony in Colmar. Orbis Pictus 3. Illustrated with 19 captioned color plates giving close-ups of the scenes in the piece.
