Leather and boards chafed due to many years of shelf wear; corners lightly bumped as well. Closed tear inside front cover has been repaired with tape. Paper sleeve inside front cover contains a few sheets of handwritten notes by a previous owner. Stamps on title page, one of which indicating that this copy belonged to Franciscan priest and scholar Francis Borgia Steck. Scattered pencil marginalia; most pages clean, though lightly age-toned.
