An unusual work of fantasy poetry based on legends involving Tibetan Buddhism. The author was a colonel in the US Marine Corps who served many years in China. As he writes in the introduction, he met a Tibetan Buddhist priest with a sacred urn which holds the soul of the Dalai Lama pending his reincarnation after one life ends. Perkins took this idea and developed it into an entire fantastic poem involving the Curse of the Enchanted Brazier.
