A 1905 reissue of the 1897 first edition, limited to only seven copies published. Issued by John Adams Aiken who felt the 1897 pamphlet was so important that he printed up seven hardcover books and gave each to one of his friends. This is Copy #3 and was given to Francis A. Gaskill, a judge of the Superior Court of Massachusetts. Gaskill's bookplate is on the inside front cover. The text itself deals with the Indian captivity of Eurice Williams. She was captured in 1704 at the age of seven and lived among the Indians of Canada for the rest of her life.
