No library markings on exteriors, but the covers are heavily rubbed on the edges and surfaces. Spines also chafed and a bit crackly-looking. Library stamps and stickers on endpapers and title pages. Some page corners crinkled. Light foxing and scattered brown flecks in the text, which is otherwise unmarked. The front hinge of volume 1 was starting to crack, but has been repaired, so the binding is tight in both volumes. Item #122597
